Am I Pregnant Question

Hi doctor,

My boyfriend and I had sex on my 6th and 7th day of my periods. However on both the days we were wearing our underwears. While having sex my hands were on his underwear and got wet because of the fluid that came out of him and his hands were wet because of my fluid . We did not touch each others private parts with our hands directly it was only on the underwear. He had rubbed his penis on me while both of us were wearing our underwears. So is there any chance of his sperms entering ne and Making me pregnant.

Pregnancy is unlikely for two reasons. The first is that sperm do not pass through underwear. The second is that you were not yet in the fertile window cycle days 8 thru 16 of 28. Games like this go a little further each time. You should start talking about proper contraception.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
That was a dry sex dear.If there was no direct penetration, there is no chance of pregnancy. The reason is neither the sperms can pass through the garments nor they are able to transmitted through fingers. They are very fragile and die easily. So,please do not stress yourself too much.As per your description, there is no chance of getting pregnant.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.

Thank you so much for your reply.
I would also like to ask you one more question.
Since I was scared and I have taken an i-pill tablet. So will the tablet do any harm to my body or affect future pregnancy
Also what changes will it cause to my body

The I pill is a hormonal pill.It can cause a withdrawal bleeding after few days and a delayed next cycle. That's all.It does not have any potential long lasting effect over your body and your future fertility profile provided you do not use it frequently.
